This quote means that if your doing something right you should keep on doing it. But if your doing something wrong you should stop doing it and encourage yourself to do whats right.

 For example if your do your homework everyday you should keep on doing it. Another example is if your helping your mom clean the house you should keep doing that. 

For example your doing drugs you should encourage yourself to stop doing that.Another example is if  your not doing your homework you should stop doing that and encourage yourself to do homework and do whats right.
